Along with our golf cart rentals, we have recently begun offering EBike rentals – electric bicycles you can ride over all kinds of terrain. Equipped with powerful motors and high-capacity batteries, these bikes can take you anywhere you want to go, whether it’s a daily commute to work, a weekend ride with friends, or a scenic tour of your favorite local landmarks. Our EBikes are some of the most affordable and reliable electric bicycles available in south Florida, with sales and rentals of multiple different types of bike, such as bikes with large or small tires, and bikes that fold up for easy storage and transport. Many EBikes can reach speeds of up to 28mph, and can be ridden on public roads and off-road for environmental hikes.

EBikes are incredibly popular at the moment – in 2021, there were more electric bike sales then electric car sales in the United States. Affordable with a variety of benefits including potential health improvements, increased speed and distance over a standard bike, and no environmental or health damage from harmful emissions, EBikes continue to gain popularity and presence on many roads.

How An EBike Works

An electric bicycle functions very similarly to a traditional bicycle, with the addition of several electronic parts such as a motor, battery, and controller, to assist in riding long distances and up hills. The electronic components of an EBike aren’t there to completely replace human power, since pedaling is still required, but when using the pedal assist option, riders can have an easier time with uphill climbs and travelling over rough, off-road terrain. Some brands of EBikes can also fold up for effortless storage and transport, making them easy to bring on a camping trip or vacation.

Benefits Of EBike Rentals

Increased Speed And Distance

On a full charge, some electric bikes can travel up to 20-60 miles, and depending on the brand, can reach a maximum speed of approximately 28mph. Outside of public roads, taking an electric bike on an off-road trail adventure instead of hiking can get riders much further than they would just walking, and can easily travel over rough terrain like gravel and dirt roads without losing any smoothness.

Physical Health Benefits

When riding a bike, the main muscles used are the hamstrings and quadriceps in the thighs, as well as the calf and glute muscles. A traditional bicycle is already a great leg workout, but an EBike has the added benefit of the pedal assist for beginner riders, a feature that can be turned down or off when more strength is built over time.

Since pedal assist can be adjusted depending on the level the rider wants, EBikes can also help to build endurance.

As an electric vehicle, EBikes give off no harmful emissions that cause damage to the environment, leaving a minimal carbon footprint, and as they are light weight, they also cause less damage to the terrain they traverse. Not only does this make them good for roads, as they won’t cause as much wear and tear as a car, but also for off-road trail riding, where they won’t tear up grass and foliage as much as some heavier vehicles might. Our last blog was about the 104AH BSLBATT golf cart lithium battery, and the benefits of switching your golf cart to a lithium battery system. lithium golf carts, golf cart sales, golf cart lithium battery As low speed vehicles (LSVs), Evolution golf carts all come with a 17-digit VIN number, and features standard to regular cars like head lights, tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals, which allows them to be registered as LSVs and become street legal. When a cart is street legal, it is able to be driven on any public road with a posted speed limit of 35mph or less. Evolution golf carts can reach a maximum speed of 24mph, and come standard with a high-capacity lithium battery, able to travel up to approximately 80-100 miles on a charge. With an Evolution lithium battery – also made by Evolution -, it can take as little as 2 hours to charge the cart, depending on the size of the battery.

Evolution golf carts can also have a number of accessories installed, including a Bluetooth sound system, touchscreen with speedometer and backup camera, a microphone for hands-free phone calls, color-matched two-tone seats, and color-matched 14 inch rims – most golf cart tires only have 10 or 12 inch rims. All models can be fitted with a dust cover, enclosure, and windshield shade, and the option of installing a different front bumper or brush guard is also available. A clipboard for a golf score card can be installed on the steering wheel, and other golf accessories like a sand bottle, golf ball washer, and golf bag holder are also offered. Kodiak Lithium Golf Carts

Another feature is the folding rear footrest – the footrest on the back of the cart can be folded in to make the cart shorter, creating more space for storage. Kodiak golf carts are available in two body styles – the Defender and the Apex. Both carts have the same premium features and can travel up to 25mph, and differ in the shape of their bodies. The Apex has a more triangle shape to its front end, with a hexagon pattern across the grill structure in front, while the Defender is more squared and has a chrome grill. Not only are Eco lithium batteries 80% lighter than lead-acid batteries, the standard in most golf carts, they are 30% lighter than other lithium batteries! Guaranteed to work with any motor and controller upgrades that may be performed, Eco lithium batteries have a higher battery management system (BMS) than most other lithium batteries, and are not only zero maintenance, but have a 2.5 hour charging time too.

T-Sport Golf Cart

The T-Sport 6 passenger lifted golf cart has 4 forward facing seats and 2 rear seats facing backward, and they come with custom two-tone padded luxury seats. All safety features needed to make it a street legal vehicle are in place – headlights, tail lights, brake lights, DOT windshield with wiper, DOT 3-point seat belts, a horn, and a speed range of 20-25mph. This cart is allowed on public roads that have a posted speed limit of 35mph or less.

One of our best-selling golf cart lithium battery is the RoyPow lithium battery kit, which comes with everything you need to easily convert your golf cart from a lead-acid battery system to a lithium battery. Switching from lead-acid to lithium comes with several benefits, including no battery maintenance – such as waterfilling or terminal cleaning/tightening -, a much longer life, a much longer driving range, a much faster charging time, much less weight on the golf cart – up to 400 pounds less, depending on the kind of lithium battery -, and many more charging cycles. Lead-acid batteries only last around 1 to 2 years while lithium batteries can last up to 10 years, and our RoyPow batteries can recharge completely in just 5 hours, while lead-acid batteries can take up to 18 hours to fully recharge if they are very low.

Allied Golf Cart Lithium Battery

golf cart lithium battery, roypow batteries, lithium ion battery Unlike standard lead-acid golf cart batteries, only one of the Allied lithium battery is needed for the golf cart. When removing a system of lead-acid batteries – often 6 to 8 70-pound batteries – and replacing them with a single, 71 pound Allied battery, between approximately 300 and 400 pounds of weight is removed from the golf cart, greatly improving performance. The Allied battery is also easy to install, and is referred to as “drop-in ready”.

The battery is great for long-term storage, as it has its own storage mode. To store correctly: fully charge the battery, unplug charger, flip the golf cart switch to tow mode, and press the power button on the side of the Allied battery. This puts it into storage mode – great for snowbirds leaving their carts in storage. The Allied battery also works with upgraded motors and controllers. ProVolt Lithium Battery

Most standard golf cart batteries only last 1 to 2 years, with around 500 charging cycles, while a ProVolt battery can be charged approximately 3,500 times over a period of about 10 years. Each battery is put through strict quality control and testing, which includes using rigorous vibration tests developed by Volkswagon engineers.

ProVolt batteries are available in 105AH, best for 4 passenger golf carts, and 176AH, recommended for 6 passenger golf carts. Our ProVolt battery kit comes with everything necessary to convert a 48V golf cart, including the battery, charger, mounting brackets, and adaptor. The ProVolt charger is automatic and is designed to shut off when charging is complete, and charges at a rate of 25amp. A ProVolt lithium battery is also significantly lighter than a system of lead-acid batteries, weighing under 200 pounds. Because only one is needed as opposed to multiple 6V, 8V, or 12V lead-acid batteries, the less weight on the golf cart improves performance, speed, and can even increase the overall life of the golf cart.

Jensen Beach Golf Cart Rental, along with our several rental delivery locations – the list can be found at the bottom of any page -, is pleased to announce the launch of golfcartenclosure.net, which features all of our golf cart enclosures that we have available for sale, for several different brands of golf carts, with options for 2 passenger carts, 4 passenger carts, and 6 passenger carts. Currently, we have enclosures available for Advanced EV/Icon® golf carts, Evolution 4 passenger golf carts, Bintelli Beyond golf carts, and America EV Mokee golf carts. In the future, we will be adding more golf cart enclosures to our inventory, but for now, the enclosures we have available are mostly available in black, with some also available in white and tan.

Our many brands of golf cart enclosure are made from a high quality, UV-resistant fabric that can stand up to the toughest of circumstances. All of our enclosures have high tear and tensile strength, with excellent cleanability and abrasion resistance. Not only are they water proof and weather proof, they are also fire retardant and rot resistant, ensuring many years of protection for your golf cart and its passengers. Getting caught in the rain on the golf course or on the road will no longer be a problem with our golf cart enclosure. Not only does it keep water off the cart, you, and your passengers, you’ll stay warm inside the enclosure when the winter season approaches.

Advanced EV Enclosure

The Advanced EV golf cart enclosures are made specifically to fit Advanced EV and Icon® golf carts, ensuring a secure fit. Zippers on all doors make it easy for drivers and passengers to enter and exit, and when not in use, the enclosure can be rolled up to the edge of the roof. When it’s time to use it again, it can then be rolled back down, zipped back together, and closed again. The Icon® and Advanced EV golf cart enclosure does not feature a plastic windshield window, as the enclosure attaches to the windshield posts. This allows for maximum visibility.

We have the 2 passenger, 4 passenger (for carts with two seats facing forwards and two back rear flip seats), and 6 passenger enclosures for Advanced EV and Icon® carts, including an Advanced EV 4 passenger golf cart enclosure that fits Icon® and Advanced EV golf carts with four forward facing seats. It does not fit the Advanced EV Advent model, or Icon® or Advanced EV utility carts.

Evolution Golf Cart Enclosures

The first of its kind for the current best golf cart in the industry! This black enclosure is made for the Evolution 4 passenger golf cart, and covers all sides to protect from wind and rain. The sides can unzip and roll up, just like any golf cart enclosure can, and completely cover the back seats as well as the driver and passenger side. Evolution golf carts come street legal with a 17-digit VIN, with all necessary safety features of a street legal low speed vehicle (LSV), meaning they can be driven on any roads 35mph or less. This enclosure is completely safe for street use, and does not compromise safety by obstructing vision, with its clear windows offering high visibility.

Bintelli Beyond Golf Cart Enclosures

On Prime Cart Parts, you can find many Bintelli Beyond golf carts available for sale, as well as a black rain enclosure for the 4 and 6 passenger models. NOTE: This enclosure is for the Bintelli Beyond, not the Bintelli Nemesis. Bintelli Beyond carts are also street ready, meaning they have all the safety features necessary to become certified as a street legal low speed vehicle (LSV), and only need to be registered, where they can then receive a tag and title. As with the Evolution enclosure, the Bintelli Beyond enclosure is safe for street use and has large clear plastic windows for great visibility anywhere it is driven.
